i wanted to do a big update at once but that way it will still cost me a lot of time to get ready...
so i made the decision to split it in smaller updates after all
and as some might have already noticed, i currently also use my real name
currently it wouldt bring me fame or whatever to use my real name, but it is a way to prove that the name Musical Memoirs with its music belongs to a person called Eric van Dongen, so its harder for people to claim that its their music (sadly things like that frequently happens)
things i will do:
upload new pieces
make a big blog which contains lots of information and will take over the function of the newsposts and will do more then just that
write down all my musical plans and progresses on them (in my blog)
write some sheets (before sharing i will get a protection on it, again to make sure people cant claim that they made the pieces)
---
done already:
uploaded 2 pieces i created on a nintendo ds (1 of the 2 pieces is going to be one of my future piano works)
tolerateu
I don't really care for the DS sounds...
can't wait for your future stuff!
Musical-Memoirs
those two things are not really the interesting stuff indeed, but i didnt need to record it or still write parts of it since i had it on my computer for quite a while (probably gets deleted after some time anyway)
i currently have a problem when trying to record by midi...
the whole notes gets messed up with the lengs and placement... it doesnt happen always, but i made a huge recording lately and almost everything is now unbearable, i need to figure out if its my music program or my computer or my piano (i dont think and dont hope it is), because this way i cant record my stuff
i have this problem a few months already, but then it was just a piece of a few minutes that i had to redo and only once in a while... 2-3 days ago recorded a lot (more then 1 and a half hours of continues playing different pieces
some of my new stuff would have been cut out of it to finally share it, but a huge part of the recoding is now totally messed up... more and more recordings i make lately get this problem
a part, sadly the part where i made the most mistakes, is still good if i fix it up a little then its still good enough
but till i figured this out i am not recording my music anymore (it now frustrated me way to much to handle another failed attempt)
i am also planning to buy a large enough soundcable to record the sound directly from the piano (only that wont be replace the midi functions so i still need to fix this shit)
